How to Make Spaetzle
Ingredients:
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1/3 cup of milk
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
Instructions:
- Mix together the beaten eggs, milk, salt, and flour. The dough will be sticky.
- Bring 2 quarts of salted water to a boil.
- Spray a spaetzle maker with nonstick cooking spray.
- Place the spaetzle maker over the pot and pour the dough inside the holder on the spaetzle maker.
- Slide the holder back and forth over the boiling water. The spaetzle is ready when it floats.
- Remove the spaetzle with a slotted spoon and drain.
- Add 1 tablespoon of butter and mix.
